Add additional image formats to the Windows Explorer thumbnail view!
Introducing ThumbEx, a Windows Explorer extension which allows the thumbnail view to display additional image formats.
If you have images on your system in formats other than the few supported by Windows Explorer, you currently have to open the file into a program just to see what the image looks like. With ThumbEx, you can now view several additional image formats directly in Windows Explorer with no extra effort.
The following formats are supported:
Bitmaps (*.bmp)
Enhanced Metafile (*.emf)
Joint Photographic Experts Group (*.jpg)
Kodak PhotoCD (*.pcd)
Photoshop (*.psd)
Portable Network Graphics (*.png)
Tagged Image File Format (*.tif)
Truevision Targa (*.tga)
Windows Metafile (*.wmf)
Wireless Bitmap (*.wbmp)
ZSoft PaintBrush (*.pcx)
Once installed, these images are displayed as thumbnails in Windows Explorer for quick and easy viewing. You'll be able to find that one specific image you need faster than ever.
