  Describe:
Stream Anywhere is the all-in-one solution for authoring streaming media to the Web and represents a stunning new advance in digital multimedia development applications. Stream Anywhere is designed for both novice and experienced Web developers.Features Platform Support Microsoft's Windows Media Technologies 4.0 RealNetworks' RealSystem G2 One step encoding Multiple bit rate encoding Microsoft's Intelligent Streaming RealNetworks' SureStream Media formats .WAV, .AIF, .MP3 audio .AVI, .MOV, .MPG video Video capture Audio Pre-processing EQ (3-band) Normalize Resample Video Pre-processing Brightness/Contrast Black/White Restore Median Blur Filter De-Interlace Non-square Pixels Visual Timeline Display Video frames Audio tracks Resizable windows Audio level meters Re-index metadata Windows Media Technologies (.ASF) Presentation Enhancements Crop Clip Fade In/Out Watermark Encoding Preset Templates Setup Wizard Batch Conversion Author HTML Layouts SMIL Layouts The Process Stream Anywhere guides the user through each step in the process of authoring streaming media for distribution over the World Wide Web or corporate intranet. The unique way that Stream Anywhere successfully authors a streaming media project is described below. Start a new project Import media files as AVI or MPEG1 (audio and/or video) or WAV, MP3, or AIFF (audio only) and display frame and audio waveform data visually along the project timeline. Or, capture directly from your video and audio source. Set the timeline Prepare the project by clipping the source file to the desired length and adding independent audio and video fade-in and fade-out points for a more professional presentation. Edit the video Enhance the multimedia content through video controls that crop the image to the appropriate playback area, and adjust image characteristics such as brightness and contrast for maximum viewing clarity. Edit the audio Enhance the audio content by resampling the data, taming the volume dynamics, removing the DC offset, and applying equalization (EQ) to compensate for audio quality losses that occur from the compression step. Eliminate background noise Optimize the source data for efficient encoding by reducing noise levels with a median filter and a black/white restore function. Add interactivity Heighten the viewing experience by embedding metadata, commands that specify events to occur at precise moments in streaming media playback. These commands can open Web sites, execute scripts, or display text captions. Encode to streaming file formats Encode for optimum Web streaming using standard Windows Media Technologies 4.0 or RealNetworks' RealSystem G2 formatting options. Select either or both formats and encode them simultaneously in a single operation. Optimize the quality of playback for every viewer's Internet configuration by encoding for multiple bit rates. The server chooses a bit rate based on the user's modem speed and conditions of Internet congestion. Create a Web page Select one of the sample layouts to incorporate your streaming media into a Web page. The sample layouts that are included offer examples of how to configure the streaming media player for either stand-alone operation or integration into your Web page. Display text for flashing a headline or caption, include a table of contents page that jumps to points along the media presentation, or present a slide show that displays images synchronized to your streaming media project.
